The Workers

I don't normally review short films but when you've seen one this good it's worth a review. So my friend Dominic Jenkinson has made a short film entitled The Workers. Here is the link for it:

It's a film about the many Mexican Labourers found in the USA and the lady that picks them up for work. Only this time as they are travelling along to their job she asks them about their daily experiences in their lives. It's at times funny and at times sad as you hear the many things they have to put up with day by day. But it is a riveting story.

What makes it even more astonishing is this short film wasn't made using expensive cameras, no, it was made on an iPhone. Yet you simply cannot tell. Incredible. I was blown away by the story and to discover that something as good as that was made on an iPhone is just amazing. It is a brilliant combination of The Office and Peter Kays Car Share and it wouldn't surprise me if this was snapped up for a tv series as I for one would like to see more about the Workers daily lives as they go to work.

We are very lucky to be able to watch a film  like that for free. Dominic is clearly a very talented Writer and Director and will go far. He has found his niche with this short film. 5 stars.
