The Commuter

Has there ever been a bad Liam Neeson action movie? Not to my knowledge. If you want to watch incredible action and awesome fighting scenes Nesson is one of the best. From the Taken series to Run All Night and Non Stop (The last two directed by the director of this movie), with Neeson the action never ends.

The Commuter continues in the same vein. The story is that Neeson meets a woman on a train who asks Neeson to identify a suspect and place a tracker on him or her. That is not as simple as you may think.

The movie also stars three of my other favourite actors, namely Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad tv series and incredibly his character name in this movie is Walt lol), and Patrick Wilson  (The Conjuring and Insidious).

Unsurprisingly, the action really stops as Neeson tries to escape from the hole he is in whilst also trying to save the passengers on the train and his family.

I've heard that Neeson is planning to stop doing action movies, and, if that is true it's tragic because he is so good at them.

In conclusion there isn't a lot I can say about this movie except it does what it says on the tin. If you like action movies, and especially Liam Neeson action movies and want to see awesome action scenes without having to think too hard, this movie is for you.

I for one loved it, it won't win any Oscars but it sure is worth 104 minutes of your time. 4 stars awarded.
